Keith Crosby is a native of Maryland who showed his musical aptitude at an early age, beginning to play the drums when he was only 5. He joined the Army in 1968 and saw active duty in Vietnam. After leaving the service, he moved to Hawaii and helped form the group Future Shock, which had success on the military circuit. A maintenance worker, Crosby has been a prolific composer since the age of 20. His CD "You Don't Need Love That Bad" was recorded to bring greater awareness to domestic violence.

Gresford "Lewis" Lewishall is a native of Jamaica who moved to the U.S. in 1978, winding up in Hawaii in 1990. In addition to driving a tour bus on Maui, he has been an active music promoter, working primarily with such reggae artists as Gregory Issacs. Lewishall and L.A. Keith Crosby have also collaborated on a CD to bring awareness to issues surrounding domestic violence and were instrumental in a campaign to gain greater attention for the nene, Hawaii's endangered state bird. Together they formed Boo you back Productions to produce CDs in 2007.

Bishop "Stay Strong" Songwriter and Performer
Bishop is a native of Chicago, IL but began his recording career on the island of Maui. Nominated for the Best Hip-Hop Album at the 2006 Hawaii Academy of Recording Artists Awards in the first year of the category's existence, Bishop was instrumental in growing and spreading rap music throughout the state. He was the first local hip-hop artist to gain major rotation on Hawaiian urban format radio stations. Now living back in Chicago, Bishop is busy putting together a new solo project. "Stay Strong" represents his plea to all Americans to support our soldiers in combat regardless of their political views.

Melissa Cramblett Stay Strong Nation Partner
Born 6 May 1975 in Portland, Oregon, Melissa Cramblett graduated from High School in June 1992. She decided to join the U.S. Army after the Sept 11, 2001 attacks. She wanted to serve her country with Pride, Honor, Dignity and Respect. In November 2002, Melissa graduated Basic Training and A.I.T. at Ft Lenardwood, MO. Upon completion she was assigned to 28th Transportation Battalion, Mannheim, Germany, where she then volunteered to go to Iraq with 66th Transportation Company and the 1st Infantry Division. SSG Cramblett, was injured during her military service and is now disabled.
She returned back to the United States with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, loss of hearing and other complications from physical trauma. She continues to work for and support our nation's troops at the Portland, Oregon Recruiting Battalion and through StayStrongNation.org and The Wounded Warrior Mentor Program. She's a single mother of two lovely daughters Ashley and Savannah.

Charles A. Cook, Jr. "Stay Strong" Vocalist
Charles Cook is the vocalist on the Stay Strong soundtrack and was born into a military family in Wurzburg, Germany. His long career in the United States Air Force offered him the opportunity to audition for the "Tops in Blue," a traveling USAF entertainment group. In order to win the audition, Charles spent months expanding his knowledge of musical genres in order to impress the judges and get invited to join the team in 2003. His tour began at the start of Military Operations "Enduring Freedom" and Iraqi Freedom and took him into Baghdad, Kosovo, Bosnia and Cuba, delivering a message of hope and encouragement that he felt the soldiers so desperately needed. At the end of his tour, Charles had a sense of pride that was beyond words.
Charles retired from Military Active Duty on December 15, 2006 and moved to Maui Hawaii to be with his parents and sisters. He also has two sons and a daughter from his marriage to his high school sweetheart. Charles has performed on the hit TV show "Hawaii Stars," where he was a finalist. In addition to his work with StayStrongNation.org, Charles is Cultural Activities Manager for the Ka'anapali Beach Club.
